About the role
As a litigation attorney with us, your main responsibilities include advising internal and external clients and conducting litigation with a focus on civil proceedings, primarily in the areas of debt law, landlord and tenant law, real estate law, and insolvency law, but you will also have the opportunity to work in other legal areas.
You assist both internal and external clients with their matters, which also includes negotiations in court and the rental tribunal. You also support internal colleagues and client handlers with legal advice within the organization.
As a litigation attorney at Marginalen Bank, you'll be part of the legal department and report to the Chief Counsel. We apply an agile working method and you will work close to the business operations. Here you get an independent role with great trust to handle matters within your areas of specialization.
Who are you?
We are looking for you who have a law degree and a couple of years of experience in qualified legal work with emphasis on litigation. You are confident in your legal expertise and thrive in a role where you can take personal responsibility and handle matters independently.
To succeed in the role, we see that you have:
Law degree
At least a few years of experience in qualified legal work with a focus on litigation
Experience independently managing proceedings both within and outside of court
Good administrative skills and a structured way of working
Ability to express yourself well in speech and writing
It is advantageous if you have completed your internship at a district court or have experience in insolvency law.
As a person, you are self-driven, quality-conscious, and communicative. You have a natural ability to build trusting relationships, enjoy collaborating, and are motivated by delivering high-quality legal advice. You combine a professional approach with good service orientation and gladly contribute to the team's common success.
