For more information, visit our website: https://www.pharmadule.com About the Role You are responsible for understanding the customer's manufacturing process and translating it into technical process solutions. The role encompasses the project's design phases - from requirements gathering and process design to engineering and customer dialogue. You lead and coordinate the process design and serve as the technical link between the customer and Pharmadule's international project team. Together with colleagues from several engineering disciplines, you ensure that process requirements are integrated into the design of the production facility. Responsibilities Responsible for process design for global pharmaceutical and biotech customers. Process design includes developing process flow diagrams, clean media flow diagrams, production schedules, capacity calculations, and equipment specifications. Layout development based on process design of the manufacturing process from the customer. Coordinate with process equipment suppliers for integration in the layout. Ensure compliance with cGMP, regulatory guidelines, and industry standards. Work cross-functionally with internal engineering teams and external partners. Support modular facility design by integrating process requirements into the modular building. Lead and drive customer meetings, workshops, and technical discussions regarding process design and facility design – with the ability to challenge and question the customer's requirements where needed. Drive process concepts from the idea stage (Feasibility Study, Conceptual Design) to Basic Design. Qualifications Master's degree or higher education in chemical engineering, bioengineering Approximately 5 years of experience in process design for pharmaceutical facilities (process engineering consulting). Documented experience with Feasibility Study, Conceptual Design, and Basic Design. Experience in developing process flows, process descriptions, equipment specifications, and layout documentation. Good knowledge of GMP regulatory requirements (GMP requirements, process and clean media) is a requirement Experience designing, creating, and developing processes, including capacity design. Meticulous, structured, and accustomed to working with documentation and quality systems. Good communication skills and ability to work in international project teams. Fluent in spoken and written English. Swedish and other languages are meriting. Meriting Practical experience from pharmaceutical manufacturing (e.g., work on the production floor). Specialist expertise (SME) in a specific area, such as tablet manufacturing, biotechnology, single-use technology, process data systems/architecture, or HVAC.
