Hitachi Energy Figeholm manufactures electrical insulation material made from cellulose as sheets, laminates, and strips. The material is used as insulation in power transformers. The material we produce has high demands for purity, electrical, and mechanical properties.
We have a strong family feeling in a flat organization, and are part of a global group with customers all over the world. We are now looking for a dedicated processing engineer to optimize and improve the manufacturing processes. As a processing engineer, you play an important role in ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and high-quality production of our energy solutions.

How You Will Make an Impact
In the role of processing engineer, you will develop and improve manufacturing processes, equipment, and workflows to increase productivity and improve quality.
You will analyze, design, and conduct tests to collect data to support decision-making.
Evaluate and implement new manufacturing equipment.
Collaborate with other internal units such as production, quality, and maintenance to find improvements and changes in processes.
Develop and update technical documentation.
Ensure that all process improvements comply with applicable safety, environmental, and quality standards.
Your Background
Engineering degree in mechanics or other related field.
Previous experience as a processing engineer in the paper and pulp industry, in manufacturing, or project management is highly desirable.
As a person, you have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, you analyze what is wrong, prioritize your tasks, and find solutions.
You are calm and communicative in your way of collaborating and enjoy taking responsibility and working in a team.
You speak and write Swedish fluently; good knowledge of English is desirable.
Desirable with knowledge of Lean or Six Sigma.
