We have approximately 260 students in grades F–6, and we have a well-functioning after-school program that is a natural part of our operations. Job Responsibilities We are now seeking a flexible and committed substitute caretaker/resource to our school. As a substitute caretaker/resource, you work in both the school and after-school program depending on the needs of the operation. You will support the operation during regular staff absences and contribute to safety, structure, and good relationships during the students' school day. About the Assignment The assignment includes, among other things: conduct or support instruction in class work at the after-school program take responsibility for a student group if needed create safety and working peace collaborate with colleagues and student services quickly adapt to the operation's changing needs The work is varied and suits you if you thrive in a flexible role where no two days are the same. Qualifications We seek someone with education in pedagogical work and/or experience working with children and students, preferably within school or after-school programs.
