Berga Parish in Linköping Cathedral Pastorate is a large and growing diverse parish with two churches and approximately 9,000 members of the Swedish Church. Berga Church is located near Berga centrum and is home to many people from other countries, making the area characterized by great cultural diversity. The parish's second church is located in Vidingsjö, by an old farm in a scenic area with fruit trees and a nearby stream. In both churches, we celebrate mass every Sunday.
Berga Parish has a team of 13 people, of whom 3 are priests. Using the principles of openness, curiosity, and care, we develop parish life together with dedicated volunteers. We are now looking for a priest who wants to contribute to the parish's continued development.
About the position
As a priest with us, you work goal-oriented, independently, and in close collaboration with both employees and volunteer workers. Together we take responsibility for Berga Parish's worship life.
In Linköping Cathedral Pastorate, a joint initiative for confirmation students and young people has been underway for several years. You will be part of a competent confirmation team that views development, change, and new ideas positively. Together with colleagues, you are responsible for the parish's confirmation groups, youth group, and young leaders. In addition to this, the position includes customary priestly duties.
