Are you technically minded, practical by nature, and enjoy varied work days? We are looking for a dedicated property technician who wants to become an important part of a small and cohesive team at our client in Borås. In the role of property technician, you will work broadly to ensure that the client's property, technical systems, and outdoor environment function as they should. Work days are varied and include both planned maintenance tasks as well as service requests and more urgent work orders. You will become part of a small team where collaboration, flexibility, and trust are crucial. Everyone in the group helps each other and needs to be prepared to take on different types of work tasks. The role therefore suits you if you enjoy solving practical problems, are not afraid to get your hands dirty, and like to take your own initiative. Your main responsibilities will include: Performing preventive maintenance and routine inspections of equipment and technical systems. Carrying out repairs, installations, and minor modifications. Receiving, prioritizing, performing, and reporting back on assigned work orders and service requests. Contributing to safe and continuous operation of the property and its installed systems. Checking inventory levels and ordering spare parts and other materials as needed. Performing risk assessments and working according to established safety procedures. Collaborating with colleagues, suppliers, and external contractors. Working in digital maintenance and case management systems. Contributing improvement suggestions with a focus on quality, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability. Handling chemicals according to established procedures. Performing other relevant property work as the business requires. The work also includes maintenance of the property's outdoor environment, for example gardening during summer, snow removal during winter, and supervision of outdoor areas. Approximately 20 percent of your working time will be spent on administrative work at the computer, while the remaining time is mainly practical. The position is based during daytime hours, 07:00-16:00. You will report to the property manager. The position is covered by a collective agreement in the property sector. You will be employed by us at StudentConsulting and leased to the client. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR We are looking for you who have at least three years of experience in technical, mechanical, or property-related work. For example, you may have worked as a property technician, property caretaker, service technician, mechanic, or in another practical role where troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance were included. What matters most is that you have a genuine technical interest, practical understanding, and a desire to learn. Knowledge of control and regulation technology is a plus, but not required. As a person, you are: Practical, solution-oriented, and technically curious. Responsible and keen on delivering well-executed work. Unpretentious and prepared to help where needed. Organized and structured in both practical and administrative work. Taking initiative and comfortable taking your own responsibility. Flexible and comfortable with your workday changing quickly. Friendly, communicative, and good at collaborating. Patient and comfortable working in a larger organization where certain processes may take time. Since the work group is small, we place great emphasis on personal suitability. You need to be able to build trust, work closely with others, and contribute to a positive atmosphere in the group. For the position, you also need to: Be able to communicate well in Swedish and English. Have basic knowledge of Microsoft Office 365. Be able to read and follow instructions and document completed work. Be comfortable with digital work order systems and administrative tasks. Have the ability to collaborate with various contacts, suppliers, and contractors. Since the work group is small, we place great emphasis on personal suitability. You need to be able to build trust, work closely with others, and contribute to a positive atmosphere in the group. This is an opportunity for you who want to work at a pleasant workplace with varied tasks, great responsibility, and knowledgeable colleagues.
