About the workplace
The internship positions are with one of three units in the building permits department in Huddinge. Among our approximately 40 employees, there is great drive and commitment with strong support from both colleagues and close leadership. There is ample room to influence how we work and we strive to simplify and clarify our advice and processing.
Our workplace is in Flemingsberg, which you can reach easily and quickly by bus, commuter train, and regional train. Of course, those department employees who wish also work remotely a few days per week.
Your tasks
As an intern, you will participate in the department's regular work. You will also handle some simpler cases and provide advice and information to our citizens. You will have a designated supervisor but you will also work with several different professional categories. When the internship is complete, you will have been involved in the tasks that building permit processors, building inspectors, and supervisory processors perform, and you will also have learned about the department's administrative roles.
Your profile
We are looking for you who are studying a vocational training program in building permits and will be doing your internship in spring 2027.
For you to thrive as an intern with us, we believe you have the ability to build trustworthy relationships and are interested in communication verbally and in writing in various situations. You learn new information easily, are good at collaborating with others, and help in the way needed within the group.

About us

At the Environment and Building Permits Administration, approximately 175 employees work within 40 different professional groups. Our employees work with everything from building permits to environmental supervision, park and nature area maintenance, energy and climate advice, and surveying services. Most work in the Novumhuset in Flemingsberg, but we also have employees based in facilities closer to our nature and parks. The Environment and Building Permits Administration works on behalf of the building permits and supervision committee and the nature and urban environment committee. Additionally, the administration prepares materials for the municipal executive committee's climate and environment subcommittee. Within the administration, there is also the municipal surveying authority that works on behalf of the state authority Lantmäteriet.
