Nature of Work
- Direct work with children and adults with autism spectrum disorder in a relief service setting,
- Providing support to clients during their short-term stays in the service and creating a safe and stimulating environment,
- Assisting users with managing routine personal care tasks and daily activities,
- Supporting the development of independence, social and communication skills,
- Individual work with clients according to their needs and individual plans,
- Helping clients navigate the service environment and participate in regular daily activities,
- Training and reinforcing skills that promote the highest possible level of independence,
- Supporting clients in meaningful use of leisure time,
- Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team and partner institutions,
- Maintaining basic electronic documentation of social service provision.
Requirements
- Education appropriate for a social services worker position according to Law No. 108/2006 Coll.
(minimum secondary education with diploma and completion of a qualified social services worker course - or willingness to obtain it),
- Criminal record extract,
- Excellent communication skills and respectful approach to clients,
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team,
- Reliability, responsibility and psychological resilience,
- Empathy, patience and ability for individual approach,
- Willingness to participate in further education,
Advantages
