We expect you to provide support and care for clients with intellectual disabilities, helping them live as independently and fully as possible. You will have the opportunity to work with individual clients and support their development while monitoring their progress—a key worker role. You will have the chance to get to know clients directly in their own environment and help them manage daily challenges both indoors and outdoors. Team collaboration awaits you. We require secondary education (including vocational school), with social or healthcare studies preferred but not required. You must have empathy and respect for clients' individual needs, reliability, patience, and a willingness to learn. Previous experience in social services is an advantage but not required. We will train newcomers! Job duties: Providing direct care services to clients with moderate to severe intellectual disabilities, supporting their independence, training in simple daily activities and providing assistance with personal hygiene and dressing, handling equipment, aids and laundry, and maintaining cleanliness and hygiene for clients. Supporting the development, deepening and reinforcement of basic hygiene and work habits in client care. Collaboration on strengthening clients' social and community contacts (basic educational non-pedagogical work). A social services worker certificate is an advantage but not required. Average salary: 36.500,- Kč.
