Shunting Worker - Corporate Siding

What awaits you: • Operating efficient, safe, and economical shunting on the corporate siding and Ostrava hl. nádraží railway station, making decisions about which cars to separate and which to couple, with responsibility for correct positioning of switches for shunting operations. • Organizing timely servicing of sidings, loading and unloading tracks. • Responsibility for correct and timely train assembly according to regulations. Knowledge and skills you should have: • Professional certification exam • Familiarity with documentation and basic railway transportation information for shunting operations • Minimum SOÚ/SŠ education with vocational certificate • At least 5 years of experience in this or similar position • Manual dexterity, independent, careful, reliable • Technically proficient • Clean criminal record • Good health status What we can offer you • Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications • Company cafeteria • Employment as permanent staff • 5 weeks vacation • Work in a stable company - we have been in business since 1847 • Work on HPP in 1-shift operation, morning shifts 7 – 15 hours, MON-FRI • Start IMMEDIATELY (after completing entry medical examination), or by agreement • Fixed-term contract with possibility of extension
