How will police recruitment work?
Information Meeting: non-binding meeting where you will learn about the Czech Police, career development opportunities, and have your questions answered.
Admission Process: approximately 3-month process during which you will undergo psychological evaluation focused on fitness for police service, physical fitness testing, and a medical examination.
What awaits successful candidates? After successfully completing the admission process, the candidate becomes a police officer and faces one year of basic professional training, which can be completed in Prague, Brno, Holešov, or Jihlava depending on the type of service. Throughout this period, the officer receives a service salary.
What are the requirements? Be a citizen of the Czech Republic, be over 18 years old, have a clean criminal record, have at least secondary education with a diploma, be mentally, personally, and physically fit for service
What is the service salary? During basic professional training, the officer receives a service salary of 32,900 Kč. After that, the salary is increased according to the assigned service location up to 41,740 Kč, and during service it is regularly raised. Recruitment bonus in the non-taxed amount of 110,000 Kč.
Loyalty pays off: after 6 years of service, the officer becomes entitled to severance equal to one times the service salary, which increases with each year served. After 15 years, the officer becomes entitled to a length-of-service bonus, which also increases with each year served up to 50% of the average service salary.
