Norrsidans Bygg is an established construction company in Åkersberga built on professional pride, quality, and satisfied customers. We are now looking for an experienced and self-directed tile setter who wants to become an important part of our team and help us deliver high-quality work.
As a tile setter with us, you will primarily work with tile and paving installation in connection with new construction, renovations, and rebuilding projects. You work hands-on in the field and collaborate closely with colleagues, project management, subcontractors, and customers.
The role involves taking responsibility for careful and professional work, where structure, quality, and progress are important parts of your daily routine.
Your main responsibilities
You will, among other things:
Perform tile and paving work with high precision.
Prepare surfaces and ensure that the work meets the right quality standards.
Read drawings and work specifications.
Plan and carry out work in an efficient and structured manner.
Collaborate with colleagues, project management, and other trades on site.
Contribute to a safe, orderly, and pleasant work environment.
Identify and report deviations and the need for corrective measures in a timely manner.
Maintain ongoing contact with customers on practical matters.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for someone with experience in tile setting who enjoys working hands-on in construction projects. You are thorough, responsible, and solution-oriented, and you understand the importance of delivering results that are both aesthetically and technically sound.
You may either have several years of experience as a tile setter or be a skilled tradesperson with a good sense of quality and professional pride who wants to develop further in the role.
We would like to see that you have:
Experience in tile setting or similar work.
Experience working independently and taking responsibility.
Ability to read drawings and work specifications.
Understanding of quality, schedules, and costs.
Experience with customer contact.
Fluent Swedish in speech and writing.
B-class driver's license.
It is an advantage if you have experience with professional clients, digital documentation, self-inspections, workplace safety work, or relevant certifications such as BAS-U and hot work. English is also advantageous.
