About the Role
As a site manager, you'll take on a central role in leading and coordinating railway construction projects – from planning and resource allocation to production and completion. You're responsible for project progress, finances, quality, and work environment, while ensuring that work is carried out according to set goals and requirements. You function as an important link between the client, production, and internal functions where you drive the work forward, create structure, and ensure the right conditions are in place for successful execution. Your tasks include, among other things:
Lead and coordinate railway construction projects
Take responsibility for production, progress, and daily management on site
Ensure that work is carried out according to schedule, budget, and quality requirements
Take responsibility for work environment and safety within projects
Maintain ongoing dialogue with clients, contractors, and internal functions
Participate in project planning, budgeting, and resource allocation
Monitor finances, forecasts, and project results
About You
We're looking for someone who is confident in your leadership and enjoys a role where you take responsibility, make decisions, and drive work forward. You are structured, solution-oriented, and experienced in working on projects with a fast pace and many contact points. You find it easy to build trust in your relationships and enjoy working closely with both production teams and clients. At the same time, you have a business-oriented mindset and a good understanding of how production, finances, and quality interact in construction projects.
We'd love if you have:
Experience in a leadership role in railway construction, for example as a site manager, supervisor, or project manager
A good understanding of production, work environment, and financial follow-up
Experience in construction management and client relations
Good system skills and experience with administrative tools
Driver's license (Category B)
Fluent Swedish and English, spoken and written
