An important role with significant responsibility and opportunity to make an impact As Site Manager, you'll hold a central role in our operations, leading and developing the daily management of terminal and distribution activities at the location. You'll be an important part of creating an organization characterized by quality, commitment, safety, and profitability – where both employees and customers are in focus. You'll be responsible for terminal management, less-than-truckload distribution, and home deliveries, ensuring the operation runs efficiently and maintains high quality. Together with your team, you'll drive development forward, create structure, and ensure that our goals, agreements, and working methods translate into smooth daily operations. As Site Manager, you're also the company's representative and management's extended arm locally. You have an important task in translating decisions and strategies into action and building a strong culture where our values permeate daily work. Primary areas of responsibility 1. Operational responsibility• Ensure that terminal flows, sorting, loading, and deliveries function efficiently.• Ensure that all goods scheduled for shipment are shipped every day.• Handle deviations, damage, and quality issues. 2. Leadership & personnel responsibility• Full personnel responsibility for terminal staff and drivers.• Recruitment, onboarding, employee and disciplinary meetings. 3. Work environment & safety• Responsibility in accordance with AML.• Prevent accidents through clear procedures and presence. 4. Quality & customer satisfaction• Ensure delivery quality and customer commitments.• Follow up on complaints and feedback. 5. Economics & monitoring• Ensure productivity, correct time reporting, and cost control.• Full accountability for the unit.• Operational presence.• Business-minded and long-term approach.• Compliance with decisions and policies.• Clear and professional communication. Since terminal operations are a large and important part of our business, we'd like you to have good understanding of logistics, goods flows, and daily terminal operations. You need to understand how different flows connect and be able to identify opportunities to create efficient working methods, high quality, and good deliveries. You're someone who can create a positive atmosphere in the group while also knowing when you need to be firm.
