We are seeking a Site Manager who drives production – from start to completed project – with focus on work management, resource planning, and monitoring of schedule, cost, and quality. The role of Site Manager As Site Manager with us, you are responsible for planning, coordinating, leading, and following up on the project implementation within your area regarding schedule, quality, economy, and sustainability. You lead and allocate work and are responsible for driving the project in line with NCC's guidelines and operational systems, toward the project's jointly established goals. Supporting you is a team including work leaders, project engineer, project buyer, project manager, skilled workers, and others. Together, you create the best possible conditions for good working environment, progress, and economy in the project. In your role as Site Manager, you will greatly benefit from your leadership qualities as your task is to involve and engage the team in the project. You will lead a number of salaried employees and skilled workers in daily operations. As Site Manager, you report to the Project Manager. Your profile as Site Manager To thrive and be successful in the role, we see that you have several years of experience in a leading position driving construction projects of approximately 200–400 mkr, preferably within public properties. You have the ability to coordinate your own resources and subcontractors. You are confident in the leadership role and have a good ability to delegate and set requirements. Based on this, we expect you to have a good understanding of cost management and experience driving collaborative projects. You have a construction technical education or have built up equivalent competence through practical industry experience. You communicate fluently in both Swedish and English. About Building Norrland We build and renovate both commercial and public buildings as well as residential properties throughout Norrland, from Sundsvall in the south to Luleå in the north. The department consists of approximately 200 engaged employees, both salaried and skilled workers, who together drive projects forward with a focus on sustainable and long-term solutions. Additional information This position is a permanent employment with a six-month probationary period. The role requires regular physical presence at our projects, and we therefore seek someone who lives – or has the opportunity to settle – in Västernorrlands län. Our initial projects are within commuting distance within the county, but weekly commuting to other project sites may occur in the future. Start date by agreement. B-class driver's license is a requirement for this position. This position is subject to background checks in accordance with NCC's security culture.
