We need to strengthen our operations at Civil North in Norrbotten with an experienced site manager with concrete expertise for our ongoing and upcoming projects. As a Site Manager at NCC, you will have an important role in driving our projects forward – from idea to reality, while contributing to creating sustainable solutions for society's future. The Site Manager Concrete role As a Site Manager at NCC, you have ultimate responsibility for project planning, finances, cost control, resource allocation, and project execution with a focus on quality, time, and economics. Working with contract management and forecasting is an important part of the role and essential for successful projects. You manage both small and large projects and have support from a competent team of site supervisors, construction engineers, surveyors, skilled workers, subcontractors, and specialists in areas such as procurement, design, occupational health and safety, and HR. Projects vary within concrete work, civil engineering, and heavy industry. You are an engaged leader who enjoys being on site in production to support our employees and contribute to good cooperation and a pleasant work environment. Read more about working as a site manager at NCC: Site Manager at NCC Your Profile To succeed and thrive in the role of site manager, we are looking for someone with experience from a position as site manager in projects with a focus on concrete. You are a good leader who creates and maintains a good relationship with the customer, while having the ability to coordinate both your own resources and our subcontractors. You have post-secondary education in the field combined with work experience. We would like you to be confident in a leadership role, able to inspire and be receptive to your employees. You work towards a good working environment and have the ability to delegate and set demands. Furthermore, you have a solution-oriented approach, the ability to see the whole picture, and enjoy putting your knowledge into practice. We would like you to have experience with project sizes from 100 million kronor and upwards, and that you have a good understanding of partnership and collaboration projects. You have knowledge of construction law and hold concrete class 1. About Civil North Our Civil North division works with land, civil engineering, and infrastructure projects. We are approximately 500 engaged employees divided into seven production manager groups within our geography of Norrbotten, Västerbotten, Västernorrland, Jämtland, and Värmland. Further Information The position is a permanent employment with a six-month trial period. The role requires regular physical presence on our projects, and we are therefore looking for someone who lives – or has the opportunity to relocate – within Norrbotten County. Our initial projects are within commuting distance from Boden, but weekly commuting to other project locations may occur later. Start according to agreement. A valid driver's license (category B) is a requirement for the position. This position will be subject to a background check in accordance with NCC's security culture.
