We are strengthening our operations at Civil North in Norrbotten with an experienced site manager with concrete expertise for our ongoing and upcoming projects. As a Site Manager at NCC, you will play a crucial role in driving our projects forward – from concept to completion, while contributing to creating sustainable solutions for tomorrow's society. The Site Manager Concrete role As a Site Manager at NCC, you have ultimate responsibility for project planning, budgeting, cost control, resource allocation and project execution with a focus on quality, schedule and budget. Working with contract management and forecasting is an important part of the role and essential for successful project delivery. You manage both small and large projects and have the support of a competent team of foremen, construction engineers, surveyors, skilled workers, subcontractors and specialists in areas such as procurement, design, occupational health and safety and HR. Projects vary within concrete, civil works and heavy industry. You are a present leader who enjoys being on-site in production to support our employees and contribute to good collaboration and well-being in the workplace. You are a good leader who creates and maintains a good relationship with the client, while having the ability to coordinate both your own resources and our subcontractors. You have post-secondary education in the field combined with work experience. We appreciate that you are confident in a leadership role, can inspire and are responsive to your employees. You promote a good work environment and have the ability to delegate and set requirements. Furthermore, you have a solution-oriented approach, the ability to see the big picture and enjoy putting your knowledge into practice. We appreciate that you have experience with project sizes from 100 Million kr and upwards and that you have a good understanding of partnering and collaboration projects. You have knowledge of construction law and hold concrete class 1. About Civil North Our Civil North division works with land, civil works and infrastructure projects. We are approximately 500 committed employees divided into seven production manager groups across our geography in Norrbotten, Västerbotten, Västernorrland, Jämtland and Värmland. Additional information The position is a permanent employment with a six-month probationary period. The role requires regular physical presence on-site at our projects, and we are therefore looking for someone who lives – or has the possibility to relocate – within Norrbotten County. Our initial projects are located within commuting distance from Piteå, but weekly commuting to other project sites may occur later. Start by agreement. A valid driver's license is a requirement for this position. This position will be subject to a background check in accordance with NCC's security culture.
