About Us Stora Enso is preparing to separate its Swedish forest assets into a new publicly listed company, Bergslagets skogar. The company will be listed on Nasdaq Stockholm and Nasdaq Helsinki. The IPO is expected to be completed in the first half of 2027. After the separation, Bergslagets skogar will own approximately 1.2 million hectares of forest in Sweden, making it Europe's largest pure-play forestry company. We are now looking for a Nursery Technician who wants to combine practical and varied work with technical responsibility and the opportunity to contribute to the development of a new organization. Your Responsibilities As a Nursery Technician, you play an important role in the daily operations at Sjögränd nursery. You work to ensure that production equipment, machinery lines, and facilities function properly. The work includes service, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance, as well as emergency repairs when needed. The role is broad and varied. It can include work with conveyors, replacing electric motors and sensors. The work also involves performing welding, ordering spare parts, and maintaining contact with external suppliers and service companies. You work based on the facility's maintenance system and annual plan and contribute to developing more planned and systematic maintenance work. You work both independently and together with your colleagues in the technical team. Since you are part of the entire nursery's operations, you will also support production when needed, for example by working as an operator at one of the production lines. It is therefore important that you enjoy variety and see the value of helping each other where the business needs it. Work is scheduled during daytime hours and is performed both indoors and outdoors. After you have settled into the role, on-call duties may become relevant. Your Profile We are looking for someone with experience as a repair technician, technician, mechanic, or from another similar role where you have developed broad technical knowledge. For example, you could have a background in industry, manufacturing, process industry, or the automotive sector. Most importantly, you have a strong technical interest, practical understanding, and enjoy solving problems. To succeed in the role, you need to be able to plan and drive your work forward independently. You are used to taking responsibility for a task from start to finish, while also documenting the work you perform. Therefore, you need to have good computer skills and feel comfortable retrieving, registering, and completing work tasks in digital systems. A Class B driving license is required for this position. Knowledge of automation, control systems, electrical work, or pneumatics is a merit. It is also a merit if you have a forklift license or experience with planned and preventive maintenance. As a person, you are responsible, thorough, and solution-oriented. You take your own initiative and see what needs to be done, but are at the same time unpretentious and willing to help outside your main area of responsibility. Since the work involves close collaboration with colleagues as well as contact with external suppliers and service companies, you also need to be communicative and enjoy working together with others.
