The Social Administration in the City of Stockholm has an overarching and coordinating role for social services' individual and family care and the functional disability sector. Here we create good conditions to meet residents in need of social services support. In close collaboration with district administrations, we contribute to a modern, digital, lawful, equal and knowledge-based social service with a strong focus on development. Within the administration, a wide range of support services are offered to the city's residents, and the offerings change based on Stockholm residents' needs and district administrations' requests. Work often takes place in close cooperation with other authorities, civil society and businesses. The Social Administration is also responsible for the city's food service and tobacco permits and carries out supervision. Welcome to us Within the Social Administration, there is a Competency Area for Functional Disability and Social Psychiatry consisting of four units. The Central Placement Unit assists social services across Stockholm's eleven district administrations in finding suitable service options based on incoming service requests, supplier inspections, contract writing and activity follow-ups. The purpose is to ensure equal services and agreements in accordance with the Social Services Act (SoL), the Act on Special Provisions Regarding Care of Children and Young People (LVU) and the Act on Support and Services for Certain Disabled Persons (LSS). This is to create more coordinated, lawful, efficient and quality-based handling of services and agreements. Through a common working method, we contribute to increased quality, better overview and more efficient use of the city's resources. Currently, the unit is under development with ongoing successive development. At present, the unit consists of two areas; BoU and LSS. Now we're looking for staff for the Central Placement Unit BoU. Your role As a placement coordinator, after receiving a service request, you will search for suitable service options, primarily through Stockholm's own operations, secondarily through framework agreements and thirdly through direct procurement. Negotiations are included in contact with external providers. A selection of service options is then presented to the social worker in the relevant district who is responsible for the actual matching assessment and choice of service/provider. You will then be responsible for contract writing. In total, you ensure that the process is efficient and cohesive. The role involves close cooperation with the Social Administration's units, our district administrations and external providers. Through ongoing dialogue with both providers and district administrations, you work to ensure quality and good results. You will also, together with your team, establish structures and working methods for agreements and activity follow-ups. Your competence and experience We are looking for someone who has: A degree in Social Work or other relevant university education, alternatively equivalent competence acquired through several years of relevant work experience Experience with authority work involving children and young people within individual and family care Experience working with placed children and young people in social care Experience and understanding of institutional care as well as emergency and foster family care and complex support needs for children and young people Experience with services outside framework agreements or work with external care providers It is meritorious to have: Experience with negotiations Experience as a purchaser of services Experience from care provider/service provider side within relevant areas Experience with coordination and development work in teams Basic knowledge of relevant legislation such as LoU Knowledge of Stockholm's city organization, compensation systems and procurement processes To thrive and succeed in the role, you are structured to plan and organize your time effectively and take initiative to turn ideas and planning into action.
