Are you our new assistant who wants to work up to 100% on a permanent basis (fixed position)? We at Vår Omtanke are now seeking a personal assistant who wants to work with a man in his 50s who lives 2.5 miles outside Visby. If you'd also like to work as a substitute only, that's fine too, but it's important that you indicate in your application how much you can/want to work regardless. It's essentially a must to have a driver's license and access to a car to get to and from the workplace. There are buses, but in practice a car is needed. This is a completely new assignment that will start on September 1, 2026. We're seeking an entire work team because the customer recently became eligible for personal assistance services and we're looking for people of all ages and we welcome both male and female applicants. In total, we will hire at least six new people. In this role, you'll make a difference in another person's life and work with us according to our vision – Everyone has the right to a good life. Relatively close to where the man lives, we have other customers at the company, so there's an opportunity to work with someone else as well if you're interested. About the Position You'll need to be able to help with cooking, cleaning, laundry, personal hygiene, etc., but there are also opportunities to sit down and chat and, for example, watch TV together. Who Are You? We're looking for you, woman or man, who takes initiative, has understanding, and is responsive. It's important that you enjoy working with people and can solve problems. This isn't a job where you just take orders and execute them—you need to take initiative yourself and ensure that things that need to be done actually get done. The customer is seeking an entire work team because he recently became eligible for personal assistance services and he's looking for people of all ages. You need to be fluent in Swedish to communicate with the customer. It's important that you have normal physical capability, as transfers are part of the work. What Do You Get? Wellness benefits, training, and a good orientation. We have a collective agreement. Working Hours and Position Level: We're seeking a person who can work up to full-time (100%) and we're also seeking hourly substitutes and thus also you who can/want to work, for example, part-time. Work shifts are normally 8 AM–6 PM and 6 PM–9 AM every day of the week. Salary: Fixed hourly wage by agreement; other compensation is provided according to the collective agreement. What Happens Now?
