Personal assistance is a service under LSS (Law on Support and Services for Certain People with Disabilities). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to people who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Every client is unique, and your tasks will vary based on the client's needs. You will respect the client's self-determination and integrity, and contribute to making daily life run smoothly. About the Role The position of personal assistant requires strong ability to build good relationships. We are therefore looking for someone who is attentive, committed, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiative and see what needs to be done. We are looking for someone who meets the following requirements: Good knowledge of the Swedish language Experience with awake night shifts It is also advantageous if you: Have good knowledge of Swedish Have experience with tube feeding Have experience with ventilators Have experience with ceiling lifts Have experience with cough machines Can tolerate pets Good physical fitness to perform heavy lifting Are smoke-free during work hours Share the client's interests Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. Work Schedule, Employment Level, and Salary: The current employment form is "for as long as the assistance assignment lasts" with an employment level of approximately 50%. Work hours are scheduled for active nights. Working hours: 23-07, on both weekdays and weekends. Fixed hourly rate by agreement and other compensation in accordance with collective agreement. Start date by agreement.
