About the Position Personal assistance is a service under LSS (the Act Concerning Support and Services for Persons with Certain Functional Disabilities). As a personal assistant, you will mainly help the client with everything that comes up in daily life and with basic needs. Your work involves respecting the client's self-determination and integrity, and contributes to making everyday life run smoothly. Each assistance is uniquely tailored based on the client's life, so work tasks may vary depending on the workplace. The client is a man living in Bro who has MS and uses a wheelchair. He needs help with most things in his daily life such as household chores, personal hygiene, and transfers, where a lift is used as an aid. The client speaks for himself and is clear about what he needs help with. Who Are You? The role of personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships. We are therefore looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiative and see what needs to be done. To thrive as a personal assistant, it is important that there is good personal chemistry between you as an assistant and the client. We are looking for someone who matches the following: • Have good physical fitness as heavy lifting occurs in the work • Have previous experience working in care and support • Are smoke-free during working hours • Have good knowledge of Swedish, spoken and written It is also a merit if you: • Have experience working with stoma and CAD • Have experience working with lifts and manual/mechanical transfers Great weight will be placed on personal suitability. Working Hours and Employment Percentage We are now seeking 5 assistants who can work on schedule and 3 assistants who can work extra as needed as hourly temps. The current employment form is "As long as the assistance assignment lasts" with an employment percentage of between 38% - 80%, as well as hourly employment. Working hours vary between day, evening, and night shifts (for example, shifts between 08.00-18.00 and 18.00-08.00). Salary Fixed hourly wage by agreement and other compensation in accordance with the collective agreement. Start Date By agreement.
