As an assistance provider, we work for our service users by offering individually tailored services. We want to help our service users live their own lives as they wish, with the support of their personal assistants. As an applicant for this position, you should be thorough, organized, attentive, flexible, and good at following instructions. You should be able to work both independently and as part of a team. It is important that you take responsibility for completing your tasks, and it is an advantage if you are good at taking your own initiative. It is also important that you are attentive to what the service user wants and needs.
We are looking for someone who wants to work as a personal assistant. You do not need any prior experience, as the most important thing is that there is a good personal connection, but it is an advantage if you have insight into what working as a personal assistant entails.
As a personal assistant, you will help the service user with all aspects of their daily life. Your workplace is wherever the service user is located, such as in their home or during activities.
You will be the service user's extended arms and legs. You should be able to help with personal hygiene, dressing and undressing, mobility assistance, cleaning, cooking, and other household tasks.
Working hours are varied, and you should be able to work during day, evening, and night shifts.
You must have a strong command of Swedish, both spoken and written, as we have documentation obligations.
Please prepare with a criminal record clearance for work with elderly and adult persons with disabilities under LSS as well as an extract from the suspicion register.
