Personal Assistant for a Boy in Surahammar

Alma Assistans is a dedicated company that works in collaboration with our clients to create personalized assistance. We work closely with our clients and know that good relationships are key to well-functioning assistance. We operate throughout Sweden with our main office in Uppsala and local offices in Gävle, Stockholm, Göteborg, Helsingborg, Jönköping, and Växjö. We're looking for someone who wants to work with a cheerful and loving 15-year-old boy with humor who has ADHD and autism diagnoses, among others. He needs support and supervision around the clock. He needs help with hygiene, showering, taking medication, and getting dressed. Help with preparing and organizing meals, etc. This is a very active and impulsive boy, and as an assistant you must follow his every step to be attentive to what's happening. And be able to prevent any unforeseen situations and outbursts. He communicates using sounds and signs. You will work very closely with the family, so it's important that the collaboration between you works well. We believe you are between 25–45 years old and you need to have a calm personality, patience, and the ability to come up with activities. A lot of time is spent outdoors and in playgrounds. You need to have knowledge and understanding of his diagnoses and how best to interact with him. On weekdays, you pick him up at home when he comes home from school, and on weekends it's day/evening shifts. It's two-person assistance during all waking hours. The client lives in Surahammar. A driver's license and access to your own car are required.
