ELFA Assistans i Sverige AB provides personal assistance services and works with individuals with disabilities who want to live an active and fulfilling life. We are looking for substitute workers to serve as a personal assistant for a 7-year-old boy living just outside Malmö. Work shifts are scheduled during daytime and evening hours, seven days a week. As a personal assistant, you will help and support the boy in all aspects of daily life. Tasks include personal care, meals (via tube feeding), physical training, play, communication, and other daily activities. An important part of the work is providing active supervision throughout the day. We are seeking someone who is calm, confident, attentive, and patient. You need to be able to read and understand non-verbal communication and create a safe and positive environment for the child. It is advantageous if you have: Experience working in personal assistance or with children with disabilities Experience with assistive devices, physical training, and providing communication support Experience with tube feeding. Heavy lifting may be required, so you need to be in good physical condition. Since the client is a minor, you must be able to provide a valid extract from the criminal record (belastningsregistret) for work with children with disabilities before employment.
