About the Position Personal assistance is a service under LSS (the Swedish Act on Support and Service for Persons with Disabilities). In your role as a personal assistant, you will primarily help the client with everything that comes up in daily life and with basic needs. Your work involves respecting the client's self-determination and integrity, and contributes to making daily life run smoothly. Each assistance arrangement is uniquely tailored to the client's life, so work tasks may vary depending on the workplace. The client's individual needs—rather than a general job description—guide your workday. Work may include, for example, assistance with mobility, personal care, exercise and communication, as well as household chores and activities inside and outside the home. Who Are You? The role of personal assistant makes high demands on the ability to build good relationships. We are therefore looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and takes responsibility. It is also important that you can take initiative and see what needs to be done. For you to thrive as a personal assistant, good chemistry between you as assistant and client is essential. For this position, you must: Be comfortable with pets—there is a dog in the home. Be a non-smoker Have good knowledge of Swedish For this position, it is an advantage if you: Have experience with epilepsy Great weight will be placed on personal suitability. Work Hours, Position Level, and Salary The current employment form is "for the duration of the assistance assignment" with a position level of approximately 85%. Work hours are scheduled for day and evening shifts. Fixed hourly wage by agreement and other compensation according to collective agreement. Start date by agreement.
