Personal Assistant Needed for Active 9-Year-Old Boy We are seeking a confident, engaged, and attentive personal assistant for a 9-year-old boy who enjoys being active and thrives when his daily routine is clear, structured, and predictable. For our client, it is important to know what will happen during the day. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is comfortable working with clear routines and planning but who can also be flexible when the situation requires it. You need to be able to determine when it is important to maintain a routine and when there is room to adapt. We are looking for someone who is firm in a safe and respectful manner. For us, there is an important difference between being firm and being controlling. You need to be able to set clear boundaries and stick to what has been agreed upon while being responsive to the client's needs, feelings, and signals. You need to have a calm, low-affect approach and be able to remain composed even in situations that can become challenging. When the client becomes stressed, he may sometimes react with outward aggression. Therefore, it is important that you want to get to know him deeply and understand his way of communicating, including what is not said in words. Being able to recognize early signs of stress and act preventively is an important part of the work. In this role, you need to be an assistant and at the same time be a trusted friend. You should be able to follow his needs and routines without taking over, support him in daily life, and at the same time create a positive and playful relationship.
