We are now seeking a personal assistant for a wonderful and well-functioning assignment with a cheerful and positive man. About the Assignment The position involves a calm pace, structure, and community, where the relationship between the assistance user and assistant is central. The man appreciates life's small pleasures and enjoys activities that bring both joy and security. It is important to understand and follow established routines and be a good communicator with both colleagues and the employer. He particularly enjoys: • Water and swimming • Singing and music • Outings • Cooking from scratch • Stretching and KP training About the Work As a personal assistant, you provide important support in daily life, both practically and socially. The work is largely conducted with two staff members, which provides security and opportunities for good collaboration. There is plenty of room to build a strong working relationship and feel pride in the work you do. For many, this becomes more than just a job. It is a role that offers life experience, perspective, and a sense of contributing in a way few other professions can offer. The assignment includes: • Swimming/pool visits approximately 6 times per week • Accompanying assistance to daily activities • Varying work hours: o 06.00–14.00 o 13.30–21.00 o 24-hour shifts 14.00–14.00 (with standby time) • Support with daily tasks requiring some physical ability • Consideration for allergies (egg and gluten) We are Looking for Someone Who: • Speaks and understands Swedish fluently • Is reliable, punctual, and cooperative • Has experience with epilepsy (and practical experience with seizure management) • Has a calm, empathetic, and respectful approach • Has sufficient physical capacity to assist with certain tasks • Thrives in work where relationship and continuity are important There is some manual lifting involved, so good physical fitness is important. You do not need to be a strong swimmer, but should be comfortable with water since some training activities take place in the pool. Also, good understanding of cooking from scratch is needed.
