Do you want to work as a personal assistant and be part of our member's pleasant work team that helps him live a rich life on his own terms? We are now looking for you to work at our assistance center in central Eskilstuna if you want to work extra as needed, as well as if you are interested in a position at approximately 80% with a fixed schedule. Please indicate in your application what you are interested in. To fit in the assistance role, you need to have great personal maturity, have experience working with care and healthcare, and have the ability to both follow instructions and take your own initiative. The assistance is based around a man with multiple disabilities. The work includes help with everything in daily life as well as help with activation and stimulation. Since the work includes help with transfers, the work can be physically demanding. In his daily life, constant supervision is required and you need to be both physically and mentally present. You need to be able to quickly intervene in case of epileptic seizures. You work alone in the member's home and he has assistants with him at all hours of the day with awake nights and some double staffing scheduled during day and evening hours. You who are seeking this position should be a calm, pedagogical and empathetic person with great empathetic ability. If you have experience with care and healthcare, developmental disabilities and epilepsy, that is a great plus. You who apply will receive a detailed introduction before you work alone as his care needs are so extensive. You must not be a smoker as our member can never be left alone. In the 80% position, working hours are scheduled during days and evenings with working every other weekend. We are also looking for hourly substitutes. Warm welcome with your application!
