Personal Assistant – Part-Time Day & Evening Shifts

IGS Assistans is now seeking two dedicated and reliable personal assistants for a male client living in northern Gotland. We're looking for someone who enjoys working closely with people and wants to provide security, continuity, and excellent care. About the Position We have two available part-time positions, with the opportunity to work extra shifts as needed. It's therefore important that you have the flexibility to work both day and evening shifts. Work hours are: Day shift: 08.00–16.00 Evening shift: 16.00–22.30 As a personal assistant, you are an important support in the client's daily life. Your responsibilities include: Personal care Mobility assistance and use of assistive devices Support with daily routines Practical household tasks Accompaniment to activities and appointments Observation and adaptation based on the client's condition and needs The client uses respiratory support and a cough assist machine daily as part of their treatment. As an assistant, you will participate in the handling of these devices according to established procedures. Previous experience with respiratory devices is a merit but not a requirement. You will receive the necessary training and guidance through the neurology clinic in Visby and through an introduction before you independently manage these tasks. The work requires thoroughness, responsibility, and the ability to follow instructions and procedures. Who Are We Looking For? You are someone who takes responsibility, shows respect, and enjoys working closely with people. You are attentive, secure in yourself, and understand the importance of always keeping the client's autonomy at the center. We would like you to: Have experience with personal assistance or similar care work. Speak and write Swedish fluently. Be able to work flexibly. Be interested in day and evening shifts Have a B-class driver's license and access to a car We place great importance on personal suitability. The personal chemistry between you and the client is at least as important as previous experience.
