We are now seeking a personal assistant for a 7-year-old girl in Hörvik. This position is a maternity leave cover ending April 27th with an immediate start. You will work concentrated 12-hour shifts over 7 days every other week (odd calendar weeks). Work is carried out with two staff members present both day and night. You will work in the girl's home with the family.
We are primarily looking for someone who is a nursing assistant, childcare worker, or has some form of experience with disabilities. We also place great importance on personal chemistry and personal qualities, so please don't hesitate to apply even if you don't have the qualifications or experience mentioned above.
As a person, you must be responsible, attentive, thorough, easygoing, able to be yourself, and above all have great patience. You must be calm and secure, and maintain a childlike spirit. As a personal assistant in a family setting, you must be familial and easy-going since there are siblings in the family. The family also has pets. The work involves helping the girl with everything in her daily life – complete care with significant responsibility but also lots of play and fun. You must be completely smoke-free.
The nature of the work requires you to be fluent in speaking and understanding Swedish, for example being able to understand and read various instruction lists and checklists, and follow established routines.
A driver's license is required as you will be driving a minibus as part of your assistant duties.
