We are looking for you to work at the ATMP Unit, Universitetssjukhuset Örebro. The unit and its Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) facility are under development and will serve as a manufacturing facility for clinical trial medicines in advanced therapies (ATMP). The unit will also play an important role in bridging the gap between basic research and clinical trials. The unit collaborates with other operations through ATMP Center Örebro, which is a forum for coordination and knowledge exchange in the field. We are a small work group where collaboration is close and work tasks are varied, with great opportunity to influence and develop the operations. Responsibilities The responsibilities include planning and creating conditions for the implementation of ATMP manufacturing. This means you work both operatively in the clean room facility and strategically in a development phase where structures, working methods, and processes are gradually developed. Therefore, we would appreciate if you enjoy being part of developing the operations and contributing to the design of future structures and working methods. Manufacturing will be conducted in project form, which means work tasks can change rapidly. The responsibilities also include ensuring the daily operation of the clean room facility as well as documentation in accordance with applicable regulations. This includes, among other things, contact with external suppliers and regional cooperation partners as well as conducting training initiatives for them. Qualifications We are looking for someone with an academic degree, at least at the bachelor's level, with relevant focus in areas such as biomedics, chemistry, or pharmacy. You should have experience working in pharmaceutical manufacturing or other quality-controlled operations. Experience with ATMP or work with cells and tissues is also desirable. We also view favorably experience collaborating with external suppliers and internal cooperation partners as well as coordinating activities and developing operational procedures. We place great emphasis on personal qualities. To thrive with us, you are a driven and independent person who finds it easy to plan, organize, and prioritize your work. You thrive in a changing environment through a solution-oriented and long-term approach. At the same time, you actively contribute to good collaboration within the group. As a person, you have the ability to create good working relationships and feel comfortable with many points of contact. You express yourself well in both Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing. Application Your application should include a CV and a personal letter. Certificates, grades, diplomas, and similar documents should be provided at a potential interview. If you are or have previously been employed by Region Örebro län, we will take internal references from your current or former manager if you become a candidate for employment. Background checks from the Swedish Police Authority may be conducted in accordance with current legislation. As an employee of Region Örebro län, you are covered by secure collective agreements.
