DUTIES
• Guide staff in using pedagogical approaches and clarifying interventions.
• Train staff in methods within elderly care, such as low-arousal approaches and communication.
• Provide training in documentation, writing implementation plans in accordance with IBIC and action plans as needed.
• Drive pedagogical processes in close collaboration with unit managers, care staff, and residents across our operations.
• Ensure that appropriate evidence-based methods are initiated, used, and evaluated.
• The role includes evaluating and analyzing operations to identify areas for improvement.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who is engaged, enjoys working in teams, and has a strong interest in being involved and making an impact. You need to be independent, flexible, and work with purpose and direction.
You have a university degree in social pedagogy/behavioral science, social work, or another higher education degree deemed equivalent. You have experience in training and mentoring, supporting staff in their pedagogical work, and in pedagogical development within elderly care.
Additional qualifications include further training in the elderly care field, knowledge of dementia, low-arousal approaches, IBIC, and documentation. Experience in pedagogical work in care and residential facilities or home services is preferred.
We also consider it a merit if you have personal experience working as a nursing assistant or care worker in elderly care.
Salary form: Monthly salary.
