A DISTRICT WITH THE FASTEST-GROWING EXPORT CAPACITY IN THE REGION AND OPPORTUNITIES TO REALIZE BOLD IDEAS IN A DEVELOPMENT-ORIENTED MUNICIPALITY invites to its team Deputy Head of the PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT of Līvānu Municipal Administration Main Job Responsibilities: Oversee and promote the actualization and implementation of Līvānu city's social and economic development programs, including ensuring the development of investment plans to attract investments for the development of Līvānu as a regional development center in Latgale; Lead a project development team, identify and develop project ideas, implement and realize projects in various fields, ensure the preparation of reports and their monitoring processes, and substitute for the department head during his absence; Organize, manage, and coordinate the processes of developing Līvānu district's territorial plan, local plans, and detailed plans and their amendments; Organize and participate in public participation activities; Organize analysis, discussion, and evaluation of current issues related to Līvānu district's development; Ensure publication of development planning documents in the Territorial Development Planning Information System (TAPIS); Participate in the development of municipal development documents within the scope of your competence; Requirements for Candidates: · Higher education in a specialty corresponding to job responsibilities (project management, business management, social sciences, engineering, law, etc.); · Experience in developing, implementing, and reporting on project applications; · Understanding of municipal development planning processes and willingness to actively participate in identifying and developing project ideas for Līvānu district; · Desirable knowledge of the Territorial Development Planning Law, regulations governing territorial planning, and other regulatory acts; · Desirable experience leading project development teams and ability to substitute for the department head during absence; · Excellent organizational and communication skills, argumentation and public speaking abilities; · Ability to make independent decisions, analytical skills; · High sense of responsibility, accuracy, ability to work in a team; creativity, self-initiative, and ability to identify and propose new solutions; · Awareness of organizational values. We Offer: Responsible and dynamic full-time employment for an indefinite period with a workplace at Rīgas iela 77, Līvāni; Salary corresponding to the IVB level of the 39.1 job family according to Cabinet of Ministers Regulations No. 262 of 26.04.2022, salary group 11, starting from EUR 1750.00 per month before tax. During the trial period, the monthly salary is set at 90% of the minimum monthly salary established for the position.
