About DFDS Logistics Contracts DFDS Logistics Contracts is a full-service terminal for contract logistics located in Arendal, near the Port of Gothenburg. The terminal's operations include cross-dock handling and management and storage of pallets and pallet collars. About the Position As a pallet repairer, you will work in the terminal's carpentry shop repairing damage to used pallets and pallet collars. The work is performed using various tools such as nail gun, pry bar, hammer, and reciprocating saw. Some forklift driving is also involved. Working Hours: Evening shift 14:50–23:35, Monday–Friday. This is a fixed-term position with the possibility of extension. About You You have previous experience with manual work, preferably in carpentry or repair. You like to know what is expected of you when you arrive at work and are driven by working at a fast pace. You are an active person and enjoy physically demanding work tasks. It is important that you understand that changes in routines may occur and that you handle these in the best possible way. We provide training that takes place during daytime in the first weeks before you transition to the evening shift. Job Requirements Basic knowledge of Swedish and English Forklift experience with counterbalance trucks Experience handling tools such as nail guns and pry bars Accustomed to physically demanding work Ambulatory Consultant: You are employed by DFDS Professionals but work on-site at our customers' facilities. Being an ambulatory consultant means you are hired by DFDS Professionals to perform work at customer companies, and your workplace, working hours, and work tasks may vary within an agreed service area.
