About the Psychiatric Emergency Clinic at Psychiatry Southern Stockholm The emergency clinic offers acute psychiatric assessments and care interventions seven days a week, 8 a.m.–10 p.m. The unit consists of approximately 30 employees of various professional categories: physicians, nurses, psychiatric care assistants and medical secretaries. The unit is located on Södermalm. The emergency clinic is also responsible for psychiatric consultations at Södersjukhuset Hospital. Your work as Chief Physician As a specialist physician/chief physician with us, you will have a varied and stimulating work in the unit's different functions. You will work both with assessments at the emergency clinic and as a psychiatric consultant at Södersjukhuset. At the emergency clinic, you will, in addition to conducting psychiatric assessments, also review referrals, lead rounds and help prioritize and direct the work. At Södersjukhuset, you will conduct psychiatric assessments on patients receiving inpatient care on somatic care wards and at the emergency department. Our Expectations of You We seek a specialist physician in psychiatry with interest in actively contributing to the development of the operation. You should also be experienced in diagnosis and differential diagnostic reasoning as well as care level assessments. We want you to be flexible in your approach and able to meet varying needs. You have a talent for collaboration and communication. Great importance is placed on personal suitability. Experience with acute psychiatric assessments is a merit. What Can We Offer You? We offer a permanent employment, 40 h/week. Part-time may be possible by agreement.
