About the Role As an OT security engineer, you'll work with identifying and managing security risks in systems used to control and monitor physical processes. This could include, for example, industry, energy, or other operations where IT meets physical technology. You'll work closely with both technology and security, where understanding networks, communication, and industrial systems is important. The assignments vary depending on the customer and project, which gives you the opportunity to broaden your expertise and work with different types of technical environments. The role is consulting-based and you'll work together with other security specialists. About You We're looking for someone who is curious and genuinely interested in technology and security. As a consultant, you need to be flexible and comfortable with variety, since the assignments and customers' technical environments can differ. You're also communicative and enjoy collaborating with others, while taking responsibility for your own tasks and driving them forward. Required Qualifications Master's degree in engineering in a relevant field Interest in cybersecurity and technical security Fluent knowledge of Swedish and English Meritorious Relevant work experience within IT, OT, or cybersecurity Thesis project or project related to industry, automation, or cybersecurity Knowledge of industrial networks or protocols Experience with Linux or embedded systems About the Customer The customer company is an IT and security consulting firm working with cybersecurity and technical security for customers in several different industries. Within the organization there is specialist expertise in both IT and OT security, which provides the opportunity to work together with colleagues with different technical backgrounds and expertise. In Gothenburg, you'll be located at Lindholmen together with a team where you'll have the opportunity to develop within the security field. They also work with internal training and develop their own tools used in the organization. As a consultant, you'll have the opportunity to work on various customer assignments and meet new technical environments.
