We are now seeking an Orthopedic Engineer for our clinic in Visby with a wonderful team of 5 employees. At the clinic we provide orthopedic care through an agreement with the region, but we also have a retail operation selling shoes, insoles, and orthoses that caters to the growing privately funded healthcare sector.
Your responsibilities
Your main task will be to meet with patients and provide them with orthopedic devices. As an Orthopedic Engineer on Gotland, you will have the opportunity to work with orthoses, shoes, insoles, and prosthetics, as well as participate in our team and on-call services at the hospital. Gotland has an well-established rehabilitation service (pediatric and adult), where you will work alongside physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and physicians. We also have close collaboration with the diabetic foot clinic, which meets once a month in team meetings. We continuously work to develop our services. This can range from our product range to improving our processes, and you will also be involved in this.
Who we are looking for
Licensed Orthopedic Engineer
Good computer skills
Fluent Swedish language skills
It is a merit if you have experience working clinically with patients
Valid driver's license (Category B)

Employment
Full-time, permanent position. We apply a 6-month probationary period. We have a collective agreement.
