To be successful in the role of security guard, you have a genuine desire to build good relationships and respect everyone, regardless of background. Your primary task is to make people feel safe in their daily lives. You do this through presence in public spaces and contribute to a calming effect, but if the situation requires it, you are expected to act. As a security guard, you are employed by Securitas but work under police authority regulations. In the role, you will, among other things: Greet and guide people on-site with a calm and helpful demeanor Carry out rounds and ensure that everything is in order at the customer's premises Be attentive to any irregularities and contribute to a safe and functioning environment Work closely with the customer's staff and be helpful in various types of situations We are looking for someone who thrives in a social role where you can combine service with responsibility. The days can be eventful and filled with meetings with people, while night shifts are often characterized by a calmer pace and focus on rounds and checks. The work involves a combination of walking and standing for most of the working day, which can be challenging if you are not used to it beforehand. You are humble, team-oriented, and service-minded when dealing with the public, but also understand the responsibility in your role and can remain objective when required.
