Job Description
We are now seeking an operational technician for Siemens Energy in Finspång for the department that currently processes their components.
The department works with manufacturing blades and guide vanes for turbines. Finished castings are purchased from external casting suppliers and then processed through grinding, drilling, grading, and inspection. Approximately 50 employees currently work in the department, distributed across two managers, and work in various shift arrangements.
We are looking for someone who is not afraid to juggle multiple tasks and who drives initiatives and projects independently.
You are curious and interested in continuously improving processes and work methods.
We highly value knowledge and experience in programming and automation, such as robot programming.
The role will also involve frequent use of other computer programs and systems (such as Office, SAP), so experience and knowledge in these areas are advantageous.
As a technician, you are responsible for ensuring the right conditions exist to operate the machine—which includes cell programming and development of tools and processes. As a technician, you also interact with various functions within the company, such as machine maintenance, engineering, procurement, and quality.
As an operator, you are responsible for the daily operations of the machine—running the correct order at the right time and with the right quality, as well as implementing operational improvements and machine maintenance.
You will also provide support to manual grading and spend part of your workday there.
The position is currently assigned to day shift, but shift arrangements may change depending on needs.
The position is located in Finspång, not hybrid or remote.
As a consultant at Randstad, you are employed by us and work at one of our customers. You have the same benefits at Randstad as with other employers with collective agreements and benefits such as wellness allowance, occupational health services, insurance, and discounts on gym memberships. In addition, we offer you numerous career opportunities, exposure to different company cultures, and experience from different industries, which helps you develop your skills and build a comprehensive CV. If you are looking for an employer that offers varied assignments and new networks, you will thrive with us. We do not accept applications via email.
