Job Description
We are seeking a counselor with several years of experience working with children with NPF (neurodevelopmental conditions), preferably from a resource school or similar setting.
As a counselor with us, you will:
work closely and operationally with students in daily school activities
conduct individual and group sessions and supportive conversations with students
provide crisis support and crisis management
collaborate with teachers and other staff regarding students' needs
work with guardians and parents
participate in school health work
maintain contact and collaborate with external partners (e.g., social services, BUP, rehabilitation)
assess students' social situations
work preventively and promote health
contribute expertise on NPF to pedagogical work
participate in developing intervention plans and action plans
We are looking for you who:
are trained as a counselor, social worker, resource pedagogue, or behavioral specialist
have several years of experience working with children with NPF
experience from a resource school is an asset
enjoy working operationally
