Description
We are now recruiting additional operating room nurses to our surgical department at Högsbo Community Hospital. We operate nine operating rooms where we treat patients from several specialties: orthopedics, general surgery, gynecology, otolaryngology, ophthalmology, breast cancer, thyroid, and plastic surgery, the last four in collaboration with SU. Our operations consist of a surgical department with 9 operating rooms and pre- and postoperative units specializing in day surgery, operating Monday through Friday.
We work in modern, spacious facilities where the focus is on efficient patient flows and work methods.
Job Duties
As an operating room nurse in the surgical department, you will be part of a team of knowledgeable, dedicated professionals from various disciplines. We offer varied and stimulating work as an operating room nurse in our surgical department, where the patient is always the focus. With us, you will have the opportunity to work with several different specialties and with both pediatric and adult patients. You will have the opportunity to participate in continued operational development at the new hospital.
Qualifications
Registered nurse with specialist training in operating room nursing, preferably with experience in day surgery. It is advantageous if you have experience from several different specialties. We are looking for someone who is independent and confident in your professional role and enjoys working in a team. Qualities we value include good collaboration skills, good initiative and organizational skills, and good patient care toward patients, families, and colleagues. We expect you to actively participate in continuously improving. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
