The Anesthesia Clinic operates at both Mälarsjukhuset in Eskilstuna (MSE) and Kullbergska Hospital in Katrineholm (KSK). Kullbergska Hospital is located in central Katrineholm within walking distance to the train station. The operating department comprises three units: the operating room, sterilization center, and recovery unit, which allows for rotating and stimulating work. Our operating department performs scheduled surgeries during daytime in orthopedics, general surgery, and urology. Your Responsibilities We offer varied and interesting work in a welcoming environment at an elective operating department with good atmosphere and high ambitions. We operate on weekdays and are closed on weekends. Active employee engagement in influencing the department's development is part of how we work. It is important that you are engaged within your profession but also in the team-based approach we use. Qualifications We are looking for a licensed nurse with specialist education in operating room nursing. As a person, you are humble, proactive, and independent, while also having good collaborative skills. You have a positive attitude, take personal responsibility for your tasks, and for the bigger picture. Whether you have extensive experience or are relatively new to the role, we offer an individually tailored introduction based on your previous knowledge and experience.
