The Center for Movement and Musculoskeletal Disorders (ROC) Umeå provides university hospital care in orthopedics including spinal surgery in the Northern healthcare region, the four northernmost counties. ROC is also the county hospital in orthopedics for Västerbotten and a district hospital for the Umeå region. The Center for Movement and Musculoskeletal Disorders is divided into sections Artro, Faktum, Trauma and Back, all of which conduct thousands of patient visits, treatments and surgical procedures annually. Together with the Surgery and Orthopedics Clinic in Lycksele and the Surgical Operations Unit in Skellefteå, we are responsible for all orthopedics in the county. The Center for Movement and Musculoskeletal Disorders is a University Hospital Care Unit (USVE) where research and student supervision are a natural part of daily clinical work. Our versatile operations are seen as stimulating by our employees since the work is divided into different sections. This provides varied work and a medical knowledge base. We have operations with both breadth and depth. It encompasses everything from assessments of patients' acute orthopedic problems in acute care at the clinic and ward to elective orthopedic operations and comprehensive fracture and trauma surgery. WORK DUTIES As an operations planner with us, you contribute with knowledge and commitment that makes people feel secure. As an operations planner, you will be the hub where you juggle many tasks simultaneously. You are the primary responsible for leading and driving operative planning. This means you have responsibility for patient contacts, operations planning, waiting lists and statistics within these respective areas in collaboration with relevant medical chiefs, section leaders, surgeons and other operations planners within the operations, our day surgery unit, ward and external units. Other work duties include telephone advice, follow-up on production planning and waiting lists, participation in operations planning meetings and county collaboration meetings. It also includes coordinating between different sections/units within ROC. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse or have other adequate education that the employer deems relevant within healthcare and/or logistics. You have the ability to work independently, have good collaboration skills and are flexible in thinking and action. You should have a structured way of working and be able to juggle many tasks simultaneously. You have high drive and want through your work to influence quality and development. In addition, we would like to see that you are interested in promoting and advancing patient safety, accessibility and a good work environment. It is meritorious if you have already worked in Cosmic and Orbit-5 and master the Microsoft Office package as well as having previous experience in surgical and/or orthopedic healthcare.
