JOB DUTIES The position is 50% operations coordinator and 50% registered nurse within an appropriate unit. Working as an operations coordinator is a very varied job with responsibility for planning our patients' surgeries based on our waiting lists. You will be the connecting link, which involves administrative work including calling and preparing patients for surgery, monitoring the surgical waiting list, and serving as a contact person for patients scheduled for surgery. Your duties include ensuring that all preparations are completed before surgery so that patients are operated on within the appropriate timeframe based on medical priority. You will work closely with surgeons and other operations coordinators within the surgery division. The temporary position is at 50%, and you are offered to work 50% as a registered nurse. QUALIFICATIONS Registered nurse license required. Great weight is placed on personal suitability with qualities such as strong planning and administrative ability, structured work approach, independence, flexibility, and professional conduct. Previous experience in surgical planning and/or work within an operating room is highly desirable for the position. It is also an advantage if you have good knowledge of Cosmic TM, which is our surgical planning system. Employment Type: Fixed-term employment.
