Operational Technical Support Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Technical Analyst who will be a key technical authority across Aevi's platforms. This is a senior individual contributor role with a hands-on focus, where you will lead complex technical investigations, resolve production incidents with critical business impact, and propose technical solutions in a distributed payment systems environment. You will serve as an L3/L4 escalation point and work closely with Engineering, Architecture, Product, Delivery teams and external partners. Beyond solving problems, you will mentor other analysts, improve internal processes, and actively contribute to platform stability and technical solution quality. Job Responsibilities - Resolving Complex Incidents " Take ownership of resolving complex incidents from start to finish " Lead root cause analysis across distributed systems " Investigate issues spanning multiple platforms, APIs, logs, databases, and integrations " Propose remedial measures and technical recommendations " Support and mentor junior and mid-level analysts Advanced Technical Analysis " Work across payment platforms including payment processing, data flows, host connectors, settlement, and reconciliation " Perform impact and risk analysis " Identify architectural weaknesses and opportunities for improvement Customer and Partner Communication " Represent the Engineering team at customer workshops and escalations " Validate assumptions and ensure scalable and long-term sustainable integration design " Provide stakeholders with clear technical information, updates, and risk assessments Change Requests and Product Requests " Perform impact analysis and solution design " Facilitate technical workshops " Support development, QA, FAT/UAT testing, and project pilot phases Improving Documentation Quality " Maintain architectural overviews, data flow diagrams, and operational documentation (runbooks) " Set documentation quality standards within the analyst team ________________________________________ Required Experience and Skills " Minimum 4 years of experience as a Technical Analyst in fintech, banking, or complex distributed systems " Excellent knowledge of APIs, REST, JSON/XML, and troubleshooting microservices architectures " Experience analyzing logs in AWS environments (CloudWatch, ECS, EC2, S3) or Kubernetes " Knowledge of PCI DSS and ISO 20022 / ISO 8583 standards is an advantage " Strong analytical thinking and ability to explain complex technical issues clearly " Experience with third-party solution integration in fintech environments is highly valued " Czech and English at C1 level (spoken and written)We are looking for a Senior Technical Analyst who will be a key technical authority across Aevi's platforms.
