As a care assistant in home care, you are an important part of providing support and care based on each client's individual needs and wishes. The work tasks are varied and require both independence and good collaboration skills.
Job Description
Care work is important, rewarding, and developmental work where you provide support and assistance to people in their daily lives. We work from a shared set of values where we consider each person's circumstances, foster participation, and make everyday life meaningful.
· Provide support and care based on approved services and the client's needs and wishes.
· Assist with personal care, such as hygiene, toilet visits, and dressing and undressing
· Perform daily tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and meal assistance
· Assist with transfers, medication management under delegation, and some rehabilitation
· Document according to applicable legislation
· Serve as a primary care contact and hold various advocacy roles
Meeting with people is always in focus. Through professional and respectful treatment, you contribute to security, participation, and good care.
Working hours are scheduled day, evening, and every other weekend.
Qualifications
You take great responsibility in your professional practice and demonstrate judgment and respect. You work systematically and have a strong ability to reflect on, assess, and handle different situations that can change quickly based on your own competence. It is important that you can balance different demands and maintain a positive attitude in challenging situations. You easily create and maintain good relationships with others and are confident in meetings and difficult conversations.
You have a great ability to work independently as well as together with others.
Since we are legally required to document our work, it is very important that you can express yourself well in Swedish both verbally and in writing, and that you have good computer skills.
Finally, you are a person with a genuine interest in people and service.
Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
