The work involves care and nursing work together with wonderful colleagues, where the individual always comes first. Stångågården is Kinda Municipality's smallest elderly care home and consists of 18 apartments distributed across two units: Skogsgläntan with a somatic focus of 12 places and our small dementia-focused unit Lyktan with 6 places. At Stångågården you will work as care staff on both units according to a rotating schedule. Joint planning with home care services also occurs. We are a wonderful and committed team with close and open dialogue with each other. In our daily work we collaborate closely with nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists as well as management to ensure safe and quality care and nursing. The team includes a team leader and an activities leader. Their task is to strengthen quality, promote collaboration within the team, and ensure that the elderly are offered meaningful daily activities. Stångågården is located in a nature-like environment within walking distance to Horn's campsite and center, which makes it easy and accessible for residents to go out. This also makes it easier for staff to offer walks and outdoor time. We have a pleasant courtyard where we spend time outside as much as possible with the elderly. Elderly care SÄBO in Kinda Municipality uses Life Care as a documentation system and Phoniro as a safety alarm system. Your tasks Your tasks consist of providing care, help, and support to the elderly based on their individual needs and creating a meaningful daily life for them. You will place great emphasis on working according to the values that are based on the individual's wishes, needs, and abilities. Your task is to be a professional practitioner who works based on strengthening the individual's abilities and resources so that they experience their daily life as comprehensible, manageable, and meaningful. You will also actively work with contact person responsibilities, implementation plans, documentation, and quality registers. You will work on both the somatic unit and the unit for people with dementia. Requirements for the position: We are looking for someone with previous work experience in care and nursing and complete upper secondary education. It is an asset if you are trained as a nursing assistant. Since the work involves close contact with residents and relatives as well as ongoing documentation, it is a requirement that you can communicate well, both verbally and in writing, in Swedish. You also have good computer skills and the ability to use digital tools in your work. You take responsibility for your professional practice and act with good judgment and respect. You work in a structured manner and have the ability to independently assess and handle situations that can change quickly. You are flexible, solution-oriented, and can maintain a professional and positive approach even in challenging situations. You enjoy meeting other people and have an easy time creating good and trusting relationships. You collaborate well with others, but can also work independently. You are confident in meetings and have the ability to handle sensitive and difficult conversations in a respectful manner. Great weight will be placed on personal suitability.
