The Area Manager Role Being an area manager at Samhall means being at the absolute center of our operations. You lead a team of 25-30 employees who work on various customer assignments, and your primary objective is for your employees to have the opportunity to discover and develop their competence so that they can eventually leave Samhall for another employer. In your daily work, you also have extensive contact with your customers and ensure that everything functions as it should. Through good relationships, you also develop the business and find opportunities for more job positions for Samhall's employees. Creating conditions for our employees' development and ensuring our customers are satisfied is thus the very core of our mission as a company. Therefore, all efforts are directed toward creating the platform for you as an area manager. In this assignment, you will work closely with a colleague in the same role. What do we offer you? As an area manager, you start your development journey with us at our own Samhall School and are offered one of Sweden's best leadership training programs. Here you develop as a leader regardless of previous experience and also build specific knowledge in several areas, including how to lead people with disabilities. You become part of a large company of 24,000 employees and are surrounded by over 800 colleagues across the country who hold the same role as you. Here you have a national network while locally you are part of a district where you have your closest colleagues and report to the operations manager. You also collaborate with various support functions locally and centrally. As an area manager, you are operational, present, and able to make decisions with high integrity. That you have experience from and thrive in an operation characterized by high pace and with people at the center is a requirement. We also know that you are comfortable in a leadership role and have good knowledge of the tasks that are part of a managerial assignment. To succeed in the role, you need to have: Leadership experience with operational, personnel, and results responsibility Experience with customer relations with good results Experience with operational management within facility services Previously worked with administration, documentation, and good system proficiency High school diploma Fluent Swedish in both speech and writing B-class driver's license Beyond solid knowledge, it is our values that make our leaders thrive and do a good job over time.
