About the work As an ophthalmologist at the eye clinic in Varberg, you need to have broad expertise in general ophthalmology. Here you will work in a team-based setting together with various professionals, such as eye care nurses, nursing assistants, and opticians. The work includes clinic consultations and standard administrative tasks such as medical record documentation, image review, medical certificates, and prescription writing. We will determine the degree of employment together with you, and work hours are scheduled on weekdays during daytime. As an employee in Varberg, you now have the opportunity to participate in on-call duty with a two-hour response time to our emergency services in Halmstad. About the workplace Eye Clinic Halland has three service points with clinics in Kungsbacka, Halmstad, and Varberg. Eye Clinic Halland continues to grow, as does our mission to serve the residents of Halland with specialized eye care. We need more staff to continue maintaining high accessibility for our patients in Halland. We have highly skilled physicians, eye care nurses, nursing assistants, opticians, orthoptists, and medical secretaries. Qualifications We are seeking you as a specialist physician/chief physician who is confident in your professional role, with several years of experience in general ophthalmology. To thrive in the role, you need to appreciate working both as part of a team and independently. You consider good patient and colleague interactions to be self-evident, which is why it is important that you are communicative and have good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish.
